The architectural shortcoming of this bedroom was a “falling” wall. Therefore, the bedroom in the Classic style has been taken to advantage so that this structural feature would not spoil the room. In addition, the customers wanted the walls in the bedroom would be more decorative. The designers have decided that to perform these tasks, the basic techniques, decoration of the walls and classic elements of the past should be combined.
Historically, the Classic-style interiors were renowned for their strict lines, soft color and division by the mirrors on the walls. Due to these techniques, the proportions of the room have changed, it has become harmonious, which in turn has brought comfort.
Despite the fact that the designers did not enter accent colors into the Interior, it does not look boring and monotonous. The dynamics is conferred by the Classic-style decor: clean lines of stucco moldings, geometric layout of the parquet.
Almost monochromatic decor is diluted with small details that are inherent in this style: a picture in the dark frame, styled large floor vase, bedside tables, a stylish bureau cabinet.
Its Majesty Bed
Certain canons relating to furniture are inherent in Classicism. These principles have been adhered perfectly. But we would like to draw attention to the decoration of the headboard. When changing the angle of lighting, it changes color from pearly beige to pistachio. The portiere at the headboard imitates the canopy and emphasizes comfort of the bed pace.
Canons of Historical Interior
The Classic style implies explicit canons in developing the Interior. Created centuries ago, this style is the perfect specimen of ancient heritage. Let’s consider what has been taken for this interior. The decorative fireplace emphasizes the geometry of windows and is a jewel of the room. The windows have been turned to advantage in an interesting way by using mirrors, curtains with lambrequins and form with the fireplace an interesting Classic-style composition. The pattern of the parquet does not overload the Interior, although it itself is an iconic element of decoration.
Customized design of stucco moldings has facilitated to create rods and decorative elements of the ceiling in the style of James Adam, which complement the gorgeous chandelier, make the Interior light and unique. The applique decor elements and the shape of furniture correspond to the basic principles of this style. Despite the lack of vibrant spots, the Interior does not look boring and monotonous.
Minimalism lovers can find certain comfort and coziness in a standard interior devoid of every frill. But the beauty of the past premises gives the rooms refined comfort. Masters of the past joined together the rich decor, proportions and geometry of space. Due to this, historic interiors attract attention. They are being imitated, some small fragments or principles are taken from them, resulting in such rooms as this bedroom.
