Small blue study in the Empire style

Imperial style replaced the strict classicism and became traditional for decoration of manor studies. Like no other, study in the Empire style fits the men's studies, as it includes the heroic elements inherent to winners.

The room has no closets or book shelves, as all this is assumed at individual library. Due to that, the study is not overloaded with massive pieces of furniture. Decoration of walls provides the interior with an interesting perspective.

Luxury in its purest form

Light tone is a wonderful background for furniture and paintings. Fine gilding does not overload the interior. Solemn curtains with lambrequins decorate the study and add some elegance. Garlands, Egyptian masks, griffons, and lyre-shaped table legs support the overall decoration concept.

The table is irreplaceable in the study. Despite the massive appearance, it does not suppress the interior. Stylish furniture elements with gilding, antique clock, and lovely interesting trinkets really refresh the room.

Thin rods frame the mirrors. Absence of frieze is compensated by broad ceiling plaster. Multi-level ceiling hides the sense of height. Jet chandelier brightens the central part of the ceiling; so, the ceiling is figuratively “lost”.

The floors are covered by bright parquet with geometric layout. Due to small size of the room, all details and elements are seen in subtle and elegant way, while perfectly maintaining the style.

Color is really capable

Decoration is based on original touch. Sophisticated layout, combined with ceiling lighting and backlit walls, changes the room perspective and dimensions. Blind walls lose their material nature and get dissolved in heavenly lightness. Wallpaper has a reflective effect, which also helps to achieve the desired result. The room is small; so, the ceiling is not overloaded with painting – to avoid the cartoon effect.

Bright colors saturate the room with air. Basic postulates of designers say: for visual increase of room area, use the cool colors. This method helped to expand the visible boundaries of the room and figuratively snatched the study from enclosed space of the walls. The room became light and majestic at the same time.

Modern computer equipment and electronic media ensure the unloading of interior, thus getting rid of different and specialized literature. As a result, the study was provided with favorite furniture, decorative objects, and accessories, which is quite sufficient for modern people.
